NCHE Scholarship - Deadline November 15

One of the cornerstones of our chapter is the NCHE Scholarship.  We are pleased to announce this year’s essay competition is open.

Essay Topic & Guidelines: November 2020 will be a significant time for healthcare in the United States.  The month will begin with a Presidential election that will be closely followed by a U.S. Supreme Court review of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA).  This is set against a backdrop of an ongoing pandemic and a persisting opioid use epidemic.  Define what you think the greatest challenge to health in the US will be in 2021 and how you would propose a new or returning President should address these issues.  Your work should be in APA format, 4 – 6 pages in the body of the paper, and citing your sources (references not included in the page count).

Deadline: Please submit your essay to [email protected] by midnight Sunday, November 15. A selection will be announced in mid-December.
